I have something really special to share with you in this post. I find it very hard to describe how much I love these fine art albums. As far as I am concerned, they offer the highest quality possible for your images, which is quite a serious consideration when you are deciding what to do with something so precious. From the first moment of capture, through the careful editing process I apply to each image, the end result is often the album and I wanted something really outstanding for this. I looked at so many different album suppliers, trying to find something that would really do justice to the work put into your photos, something utterly perfect. I found Folio Albums.
So, what is so special? Above anything else, the quality of the printing is sublime. Every time I order an album, it is an absolute joy to see each page. The crispness of the detail, the vibrancy of the colours, the beautiful matt finish, the quality fine art paper... each image just jumps off the page at you. The beautiful pages lay completely flat with an almost invisible crease, so your images can be printed right across the page for maximum impact. But then there is also the craftsmanship involved in creating these albums as well. The albums are handmade and quality checked throughout the process and this is really evident when you look at the detail in the finishing. Everything about the album exudes quality.
It is also really important to me that the albums have good green credentials, and Folio Albums make a real effort here. The albums are made in the UK. The paper is recycled or bought from sustainable sources and local suppliers are used wherever possible. Each album is wrapped in a sleeve made from natural, unbleached cotton and carefully placed in a keepsake box made from recycled materials. Folio Albums make a real effort to reduce their impact on the environment, which matters to me and, I hope, to you too.
The archival quality paper and inks used ensure that the beautiful printing will last a lifetime and beyond. These albums provide a way for you to really treasure your photographs, presenting and preserving them in a way that can be handed down and enjoyed for generations to come.
This set of albums below includes a 12x12" main album with three mini 6x6" copies from Leanne and David's gorgeous wedding in Petritoli, Italy. They chose to also have a smaller 8x8" album specifically with photos of their gorgeous 1.5 year old Louis. I couldn't resist the opportunity to photograph all the albums together to show off their complete fabulousness!
I'll leave the final word to Leanne, after receiving her album delivery:
"WOW the albums are simply divine!!!!!!!! I am sitting in bed looking through them and they are so much more incredible than I thought they would be, the way they have been put together, the photos are just amazing. Thank you so, so very much! I am going to bed with a big beam on my face xxx"
My Fine Art Albums are recommended both for wedding photographs and for portraits. The albums are available in a range of sizes, with gorgeous leather or cotton cover options. The Ivory leather is pictured above, but perhaps you would prefer a Nut Brown, or a Vintage Berry, or maybe a cotton cover in Dusty Pink... They are available as part of a wedding package, or as a separate product. If you would like to find out more then please get in touch and I'll send you some further information.
Thanks to the wonderful Otto Retro, Exeter for letting me use their lovely upstairs room Uppity Up to photograph the albums.
