My clever friend Kat is The Paper Florist and she creates the most incredible origami flowers from recycled card and paper. I think they are absolutely gorgeous, and something really different, particularly for a wedding. Here are some photos of Kat's flowers making a wedding reception look truly unique this afternoon... I loved everything about Sarah and Dave's wedding. They got married at the beautiful Dartington Hall in South Devon, with its incredible gardens and stunning interiors. The weather was perfect, the flowers a mass of beautiful white roses, and the guests were all fantastic. But what really stood out was just how completely besotted Sarah and Dave were with each other. I came away with so many photos of them laughing, smiling and whispering together, it was like they were in a separate little bubble floating amongst their guests. In a good way ;-) So I couldn't resist just putting this photo up quickly on the blog, as it basically says it all. More to follow.

Rosie and Evie, two of my favourite photo models, are amazingly now three years old. I have been snapping away at them since they were very tiny little premature babies. They have now grown into two incredibly beautiful girls, and it was my absolute pleasure to celebrate their third birthday with them last weekend.
Happy birthday lovely girls! xx

I took some shots today for some Japanese friends, who are going to be selling some of their crafts to raise money for the earthquake and tsunami victims (details here). I really loved photographing these delicate little origami birds... but the very best bit was that I got to scoff all the edibles after I'd finished the pictures! If only all work was paid in cakes... ;-)

I have been editing the photos from Krisztina and Colin's recent wedding in Exeter. Despite the terrible forecast, the weather just about held off, and we all studiously ignored the ominous grey clouds. It was a really special ceremony, lovely and intimate with some really close friends and family, so it was a real privilege to share it with them. Their gorgeous little boy Noah was fantastic as well, spending most of the ceremony racing around the church, running through all the pews having the best time ever! Meanwhile I was trying to catch him with my camera, not the easiest task... Colin and Krisztina were really great, and it was so lovely to photograph their ceremony. Here are just a few of the pictures:

Making the most of all the bank holidays recently - here are some of the photos that I took at our wonderful street party. We were lucky enough to do a sushi tasting session for some of our friends, who are planning a fundraiser for Japanese earthquake victims next month. So I got to hover around drinking beer, picking off all our lovely local kids with my camera, and filling my tummy with sushi - perfect day then :).
